The village of Diveevo is the only lot of Saint God's Mother in Russia and the fourth in the world. On its territory there is Saint-Trinity Serafimo-Diveyevsky Monastery where the relics of the Great Russian saint Serafim Sarovsky are kept. Diveevo is a historical settlement of the regional value and has enough resources for development of potential. The majority of tourists today come particularly to Diveevo (approximately 200 thousand of guides, tourist and pilgrims). But the absence of objects of public display (museums) in the village itself does not increase the amount of tourist services being provided. For the purposes of development of tourist infrastructure it is planned to build a museum-tourist complex on the territory of the village which will include local history expositions, expositions of the museum of Sarovsky monastery, craftsmen workshops, a souvenir shop, a cafe.
The cost of the project is USD 2 million.
